Field trip

All tuckered out
Doesn't this look like a sweet playground toy?
On the way home from our family reunion, we stopped at Willow Park Zoo and Hill Aerospace Museum. The zoo was bigger than we thought it would be, and a very interesting zoo. There were mostly birds of every kind, including swans and a few peacocks that roamed the grounds. Kate took home a nasty peacock feather. :) There were also animals like bobcats, deer, and foxes. We played at the park next door afterwards. Isaac was pretty tired, so we left and ate lunch in the truck on the way and stopped a half-hour later at Hill Aerospace Museum in Roy, Utah.

The museum was great, too. You can see it from the freeway and we've passed it many times but never stopped until today. It was worth it. I think we saw 50 different airplanes, along with Air Force uniforms and helmets from different eras. The fake people (mannequins) were freaking Lisa out, so we had to hurry through those exhibits. :) The kids were pretty tired by this time and they all took naps on the way home!
